2126: Travis Mayweather is born aboard the Horizon . Mayweather was born aboard the E.C.S. Horizon,
about halfway between
Draylax and Vega Colony.

He was raised as a space boomer, living aboard
the Horizon for his entire
childhood. Mayweather was fascinated by the
lost colony of Terra Nova
as a kid and promised his dad that he would see it
one day. He felt that
the mystery of lost colonies affected boomers more
than anyone else-
there is something about people who chose to live
off world.

Travis stayed up all night for a month, mapping
every system he planned to visit when he grew up.

Mayweather's family traveled to Trillius Prime.
He also visited both the Teneebian moons and
Draylax, where he experienced the female natives'
unique endowments "first hand, second hand, and
third hand". The Date is based on the assumption
that Travis started fourth grade when he is eight
or nine years old and leaves sixth grade when he
is eleven or twelve.

ca 2147: Mayweather broke with boomer tradition when he
joined Starfleet, leaving the rest of
his family aboard the Horizon. His sister and
her husband are both still aboard the Horizon as of
2151. His dad had expected him to take over
the Horizon at some point. But Mayweather didn't
want to spend the rest of his life on the
Dralax-Vega run.

got to see some P-51's.

2151: When Enterprise investigated the Terra Nova
colony, Mayweather wrote the official report at the
request of Captain
Archer.

A few weeks later, the helmsman accompanied
Lieutenant Reed to Archer's Comet, only the third time
he had ever seen
snow.

10 Jan 2153: Mayweather visits his
family aboard the Horizon. Its been 4 years since he's seen them.

2161: Mayweather received an offer
from Captain Stillwell for after the signing of the Federation Charter,
but told Stillwell that he
was going to wait until he sees what Captain Archer decides to
do. Reed thinks
it is likely he will stay
with Archer after the signing.

He likes the sweet spot of the ship (where there is
zero gravity) and even likes to sleep in zero gee.

Grandfather: It's not unusual on cargo ships to double-up
on tasks, and Mayweather's grandfather holds
the record: five jobs at once, two of them on the
bridge.
