jungle in the Equatorial island region of the planet.

Pods found high in the trees - they contain fluid and a worm-like creature which is eaten.

an alien language of chittering growls
The language includes phrases such as:

Jahz ya brahk.
Jahz ya seetayla?
Zihn'tah.
Key'znaht.

History:
An unspecified number of centuries ago,
they suffered an unspecified calamity which left them sterile; they
devised a "mutagenic virus" to convert other humanoid species to their

memories and behavioral cues: the spoken language, identification with the
Loque'eque, images of Urquat and a compulsion to return there.
