O.

Octran Fertility contests - Dr. Phlox said basketball reminded him of this, except that they were fully
    clothed.                                               "The Forge" [ENT]

Oden - When Sato took over the galley, she elected to make one of her grandmother's specialties [later
specified as: oden].  The photo and recipe on monitor appears to be hiragana.  Later at "lunch", most
of the crew seems pleased with Sato's "oden", but Reed thinks it's a bit salty.  Sato, under the
influence of unknown radiation, becomes obsessed with perfecting the recipe for this dish.
                                                               "Singularity" [ENT]

O'Malley - female.  MACO corporal.  O'Malley was probably injured in the battle with the
Reptilians which severely damaged the Enterprise, Phlox returned her to duty the afternoon on
the day that the Aquatics returned Archer to the ship.
                                                               "Damage" [ENT]

O'Malley, Patricia F. - female.  Starfleet ensign.  She attended Starfleet academy.  She was 26 years
old when she died in a battle with a hostile species (quite probably the Xindi).  Alicia Travers asked
about her when she saw a picture on Archer's desk.  Since personal objects had not been removed
    from her
quarters before the starship returned to Earth in "Home" (early 2154). This would
give her an approximate birth date of 2128.

                                                                "Storm Front, part 2" [ENT]

Omega training mission - Tucker's EV pack malfunctioned on Titan during the omega training mission,
inducing nitrogen-narcosis.  Archer managed to talk him out of taking his helmet off, thus saving his life.
It is not known if this was the final exercise in Starfleet training, or training for a specific mission to
somewhere called Omega, or just an arbitrary letter designation for a routine training mission.
                                                             "Strange New World" [ENT]

Oomox - Ferengi sexual foreplay.  SEE:  Ferengi

Optical Sensors - Enterprise's optical sensors have a resolution of <1-cm from 500-km, enough to see
specific facial features of the natives, including their cranial ridges.
                                                           "Civilization" [ENT]

Oran'taku - Raijin claims this is her homeworld, but adds that she doesn't remember it.
                                                             "Raijin" [ENT]

Orbit - Archer orders a 500-km orbit.  "Civilization" [ENT]
    SEE: Geosynchronous Orbit.

Orbital Six - the designation of the inspection-pod that Trip and Archer used to view the outside
of the ship prior to its launch.  At one point Trip wasn't paying attention to the controls and it drifted
into the bottom of the saucer where it "scratched the paint".
                                                             "Broken Bow" [ENT]

Orbital Engineer - Daniel's cover story included a nonexistant brother who was an orbital engineer at
    Jupiter Station.                                "Cold Front" [ENT]

Orbital platforms - When they returned to Earth, Enterprise could not contact any of the orbital-
platforms including Yosemite Three which was destoyed earlier by the Reptilians.
                                                             "Zero Hour" [ENT]

Organic circuitry - The Enterprise finds a derelict time ship whose "electronics" seem to be based on
    organic circuitry.                              "Future Tense" [ENT]
    SEE:  biomatter

Organic explosive - The Triannons filled their bodies with "organic explosives."  They wear a disc-shaped
device on the right lapel. To activate the explosive they plunge a needle on the device into the left
forearm.  The veins turn dark before their bodies explode.  The explosion creates enough force to cause
a sizable hull breach.  Phlox was able to create an airborne counteragent which neutralizes one of the
"enzymes" in the explosive.              "Chosen Realm" [ENT]

Osmium - The silver-blue metal osmium (Os) is one of the densest known chemical elements,
    at 22.61 g/cc.  (Compare: Iridium at 22.65, platinum 21.09, neptunium 20.45, gold 19.3, and
lead at 11.3.)  With an atomic number (Z) of 76, it's a platinum-group metal, similar in properties
to and often found in ores with its compatriots: ruthenium (Ru, 44), rhodium (Rh, 45), palladium (Pd, 46),
silver (Ag, 47), iridium (Ir, 77), and platinum (Pt, 78).  It has the highest melting point of the group,
at 3033°C.   The Catwalk is reinforced with Osmium Alloy.
                                                                 "The Catwalk" [ENT]

Osmotic Eel - One of the lifeforms Phlox keeps in hiis sickbay.  It looks like a starfish.
Her needs are modest... A nutrient broth every three or four days.  Less often when she's working...
She'll ingest a little blood while she's healing an injured artery.  She was offered to the woman from
the deuterium facility but the woman decided she'd just take some vascular adhesive instead.  Dr. Phlox
also offered her an auto-suture instead of the eel.
                                                                 "Marauders" [ENT]
